CIA TERM EVENING
Each term, the VG
Christians in Action society holds a term evening. This term, the girls
went to the 13th Floor Rock Concert which was held at PJ Olivier on
Friday the 19th of August. 13th Floor is a Performing Arts Ministry
which has been visiting schools and performing in Grahamstown over the
past week. The girls enjoyed an evening of praise and worship lead by
the 13th Floor band.

FIRST TERM EVENING
The CIA term evening on the 4th
March was very successful with over 150 learners from VGHS, Kingswood
and Graeme College attending. The evening started with energetic
games followed by a prayer session. Worship was led by GAP and
Arthur Frost delivered a message.

FEBRUARY UPDATE
It has been a great
year thus far. We have a group of about 20 girls who have a variety of
levels of understanding and knowledge of scripture. Our aim is to
encourage then and to show them how God’s Word is relevant and useful
for all of life.
So far this year we
have covered topics such as; Scripture, Worship, Prayer and Faith. We
will be going onto Temptation and Facing Trials.
On the 4th March we have our term evening and
the topic is LOVE. We will be looking at Humans’ Love (Valentines Day)
as compared to God’s Love (Easter/Passover). A new aspect this year is
our worship sessions; we are now able, thanks to our humble musician to
sing praise to God every week as we start our meeting.
What is CIA all about?
The
CIA is an exciting society for all interested in Christianity.
They have a committee that meets weekly to ensure an interesting and
varied program.
It is for girls
who are committed to becoming better people with the help of God! This
dedicated group of girls enjoy coming together at the start of each new
week to help each other deal with all aspects of their lives.
