ODYSSEY – take the first step

 

Odyssey – take the first step is currently in rehearsal at VG.  The play will be performed as part of our Founders' Weekend Celebrations.

 

Workshopped by the cast and director, Louella Hastie, the play has a distinctly South African Flavours as the heroine from the Rural Eastern Cape sets off to find her fortune in Jo’burg with inevitable hiccups along the way, including passing through though the Indian bizarre in Durban.

 

Below Sicelocazi Pango and Luyanda Ndikiza are seen in the Durban Bizarre scene.  We have also included photos of the Odyssey auditions from earlier in the term.
