BLOOD DONATION
On Tuesday the 2nd of August the SANBS (South
African National Blood Service) came to VG for a
blood donation clinic. Between 13.00 and 18.00
about 60 people came to donate, but
unfortunately some were turned away because of
low iron levels. 38 pints of blood were
collected in total. Everyone that was brave
enough to donate blood must be congratulated as
it is a very selfless act and each person's
blood could save up to three lives! VG would
like to thank everyone who donated, everyone who
was involved and the SANBS.
