INTERHOUSE SQUASH
On the 11th
of August the Interhouse squash competition took
place and after a close call between Graeme and
Dorset, Graeme took the winning position at the end
of the afternoon. Dorset closely followed in second
place and Ruthville and Thursford took the 3rd
and 4th spots. Well done to all the
houses for their spirit!

TERM 1 REPORT by Marné Mostert
Our squash ladies have been working hard to regain
their fitness and ball skills. The term started
with a Round Robin competition to determine team
rankings.
Natasha Nel, Stephanie Whitehorn, Amy Jackson-Moss,
Jenny Upfold, Leigh Potgieter and Nicole Wilson
travelled to Port Elizabeth for EP trials and came
home with promising results.
Towards the end of the term we started our league
matches. Our second team played DSG’s third team
and after a tight battle lost 1-15. Our first team
travelled to Port Alfred and did exceptionally well
by winning 5-14.
We look forward to many exciting games from our
squash ladies! |
