TERM 1 REPORT by Asisipho Moyake

Kirby Daniels (100m) and Awongwa Tinta  (high jump) qualified to participate in the EP Championships.

The following athletes represented VGHS at the Cacadu District Championships at Nico Malan High School in Humansdorp:  Ricayla Denston (800m),  Sibusisiwe Zondani (Discus),  Mihlali Ngqunge (Javelin), Kirby Daniels (came 2nd in High jump: Silver Medal) & Sisanda Nogalawa (came 3rd in 400m: Bronze Medal)

VG IN THE CACADU DISTRICT ATHLETICS

 

Sisanda Nogalawe came third in the U15 400m race, Kirby Daniels came first in U16 100m race and Awongwa Tinta came second in Open high jump. Kirby and Awongwa will proceed to the EP champs.
